Release cadence and update delivery
NEXEFII follows a continuous, managed delivery model: new platform versions are published incrementally, with no action required from the customer to receive product updates, security fixes or performance improvements.
Customers do not install the platform locally — all execution is managed by NEXEFII. Updates are applied transparently, with the goal of not interrupting active user sessions.
Releases may include new features, adjustments to existing behavior, bug fixes, performance improvements and security updates. Changes that are material to the customer's business are communicated with reasonable advance notice.
Scheduled maintenance
Maintenance activities that may impact partial or full platform availability are scheduled within the maintenance window defined in maintenance windows communicated with reasonable advance notice.
Scheduled maintenance is communicated in advance, through notices on the platform and/or by email to the registered administrative contacts. The advance notice period may vary depending on the complexity and expected impact of the maintenance.
During the maintenance window, parts of the platform may be temporarily unavailable or degraded. Wherever possible, NEXEFII will carry out maintenance in a way that minimizes impact on users.
Emergency maintenance
In situations requiring immediate intervention to preserve platform security, data integrity or critical stability, NEXEFII may carry out emergency maintenance outside the scheduled window and without prior notice.
This includes, among other cases: applying critical security vulnerability patches; mitigating active incidents; and responding to unforeseeable infrastructure failures.
In such situations, customer communication is made as promptly as possible, during or after the intervention, through available channels.
Change communication
Changes that materially affect user experience, integration behavior or contractual obligations are communicated in advance through the following means:
- Platform notices (banners, in-app notifications or the Release Center).
- Email to the administrative contacts registered in the organization.
- Release notes published in the platform Release Center.
- Updates on the status channel NEXEFII's official communication channels, where applicable.
NEXEFII reserves the right to modify the platform in accordance with operational and security needs. Changes with purely internal impact or of limited scope may be made without prior notice.
Backward compatibility and integrations
NEXEFII aims to preserve backward compatibility of the platform's public APIs and data contracts across incremental releases. Breaking changes are avoided wherever possible.
When a breaking change is necessary, it will be preceded by a reasonable notice period, with clear communication of the new version and the actions required from the customer.
Third-party integrations developed by customers are the customer's responsibility. NEXEFII does not guarantee that undocumented integrations or those depending on unpublished internal behavior will remain functional after updates.
Deprecations
Features, endpoints or modules that are to be discontinued will go through a formal deprecation process before final removal. The deprecation process includes:
- Public announcement of the deprecation, indicating the planned removal date.
- A reasonable notice period during which the feature continues to operate in deprecated mode.
- Migration guidance or available alternatives.
- Final removal only at the end of the notice period.
In exceptional urgent security situations, a feature may be disabled immediately without a notice period. In such cases, communication is made with the greatest possible speed.
Critical security fixes
Fixes for security vulnerabilities identified as critical may be applied immediately, at any time, regardless of the maintenance window or standard release cycle.
The security of customers and the data under NEXEFII's responsibility takes precedence over operational convenience. Communications about security fixes are made in accordance with the incident response policy and the timeframes established in without undue delay after confirmation of the incident.
